We entered a BMW 120i in the Norsk Fun Sport 750 race at Motorcenter Norway in August, a 12.5-hour endurance event. To maximize performance and manage fatigue, the race was organized into 45-minute driving stints, allocated across a team of four drivers. This structure required careful planning of driver rotations, fuel strategy, and vehicle maintenance to ensure consistency and reliability throughout the duration of the race.

Motorcenter Norway
High in the mountains near the coast of Sokndal lies an incredible destination called Motorcenter Norway. Its main attraction is a racetrack featuring 14 challenging turns, and it’s one of the few tracks designed to be driven counterclockwise. He first caught the track bug back in 2006, taking his Porsche 996 GT3 to organized track days. It didn’t take long before the realities of performance driving became clear—by only his second outing, he realized the factory brakes were nowhere near enough to handle the extreme loads of pushing hard lap after lap. From then on, improving, learning, and adapting became part of the journey. In 2019, he took the next step and joined the world of low-cost endurance racing. Since then, he has consistently competed in three to five races each year, steadily gaining experience in the demanding world of long-distance competition. What started as a passion for track days has evolved into a commitment to endurance racing, combining mechanical understanding, strategy, and stamina behind the wheel.
